Fish fry/black pomfret fish fry/Tasty and healthy fish fry



Black pomfret fish 🐟🐟is excellent suitable for fry.  It is very tasty and yummy food. Sea foods are excellent sources of many vitamins like A and D vitamin. It is very helpful for keep the eyes healthy and improve bright vision.

Ingredients :



Black pomfret - 1 kg(fillets or slices)

Kashmiri chilli powder - 3 tbsp (homemade)

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

Salt - 1 1/2 tsp(as for taste)

Fennel seeds powder - 1 tsp

Lemon - 1/2 slice

Oil - 1 tbsp

Procedure :

 1. First remove the fish skin and cut it thin slices also wash it well.




2. Take a wide bowl and into the chilli powder, turmeric
     powder, salt and fennel powder.  If your chilli powder
     is spicy means add 2 tbsp chilli powder and 1 tbsp
     coriander powder add along together.              












3.  Half lemon juice add together it will give little sour taste       for fish.














4. Add oil into the mixiture.














5.  Add water little by little and make the masala for thick paste.


              


6.  Apply the masala in all fish slices one by one.  Leave it
     for about 2 hours it will help becomes cling well to the
     fish.
                 
















7.  Close with help of lid and keep aside for minimum 2
     hours.




8. After 2 hours heat a pan or tawa and add oil then spread
    it well. Once oil is little heat then after only add into
    the fish.  Don’t flip immediately. Fry till golden brown.

                





    



















9.  After 4 minutes gentle while flipping the fish
     otherwise the masala come out or fish is broken.  So
     careful to flipped it. Again it takes around 4 minutes to    
     fried.
              













10.  After 4 minutes fish is now fried then take out the oil
       and strain the excess oil and keep it another plate.















11.  Take out all the slices and remove the under black
        remaining masalas otherwise the black thing spoil
        the fish fry.Then after fry in another set of  fish.


                    























12.  Garnish fish fry with sliced lemon and onion.  Serve
        with a meal or as a starter.  Serve with sambar meal
        or rasam meal is best combination.
