Ingredients :

Chenna dhal - 1/4 cup(60ml)
Asafoetida - small pinch
Red chilli - 10nos
Curry leaves - 1 handfull
White sesame seeds - 2 tbsp
Garlic - 2 nos(small size)
Oil - as required
Salt - 3/4tsp to 1 tsp(as for taste)
Procedure :
1. Take a heavy bottom tawa pour it 1 tbsp oil and fry with asafoetida stir continuously turned it all sides to fry. Roasted it low flame till crispy. Transfer to the another plate.
2. Again same pan put the black uradh dal dry roasted with low flame till slightly color change. Once color change the dal transfer to the another plate. It will taken 9 to 10 mins only.
3. In same pan put the chenna dal and add with 2 drops oil roasted with low flame till slightly color change then transfer to the another plate.
4. Now dry roasted the chilli for 2 minutes only because chilli should be little heat is enough. After 2 minutes keep aside.
5. Add 1 tbsp oil and curry leaves fry till crispy well. After dry roasted for white sesame seeds till golden brown color. Keep aside and cool down.
6. After cool it put the mixi and grind it little coarse powder or fine powder for your wish. Finally add into the garlic with skin and salt grind it 1 or 2 rounds its enough.
7. Now delicious and healthy idly podi ready. Store the air tight container it will be used till 1 month.

Take a wide plate and put the all roasted
ingredients its helpful for cool down fast.
After cool down put all the things in mixi jar
and grind it little coarse powder.
Once grinding the coarse powder like this
Add into the garlic with skin and 1 tsp salt
grind it together.
After grinding store with air tight container.
It will used for 1 month
