Samai Idly (little millet)

                   
           Daily one small millet food taken is good for health. Samai Idly is very tasty so kids also like this prepare the food and serve  it . Its prevent the diabetes. Daily eat and make your life healthy. 






Ingredients :

Samai rice(little millet)  -  2 cups
Idly rice - 2 cups
Urad dhal  - 1 cup
Fenugreek seeds - 1 teaspoon

                      
Preparation  Method:


  1. Rices are washed it after soaked together.
  2.  Another bowl  urad dhal with fenugreek seeds soaked it atleast 4 to 5 hrs.

  1. After 4 to 5 hrs drain the urad dhal but don't throw the water it's used for grinding purpose. 
  2.  Now grind for a little bit of water added in urad dhal grind till batter is fluffy. 
  3. Grind for 15 to 20 minutes only. 
  4. Pour the urad dhal batter in big bowl.
  5. Drain the rice and grind it smooth batter its make should not be too thick ro thin.
  6. Mixed  urad dhal batter and rice batter with salt, tight the bowl and keep it aside for 8 to 9 hrs.(overnight)



  1.  Next day morning the batter is ferment and increasing the double volume.


  1. Take Idly vessel or Idly cooker put in 2 cup of water and heated it.
  2. Grease the oil with idly mould.
  3. Smoothly shuffle the batter and pour the idly moulds and put on the stream vessel.
  4. Keep  cooking for 10 minutes and remove the moulds and serve it with coconut chuttney or sambar.
