Rava Kesari




Ingredients :

Rava  -  1 cup
Sugar  -  1 cup
Ghee  -  1 cup
Water  -  3 cup
Cashew nuts   -  10
Raisins  -  10
Cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon
Kesari powder  -  2 pinch



Method :


Roast rava with little ghee (1 table spoon)in a kadai till gets light brown keep aside. ( do not more roast)

The same pan add the 3 cups of water, add kesari powder boil it and bubble up well.  Reduce the flame add the roasted rava  slowly, constantly stirring and mix well do not form any lumps.

Cook for 5 minutes and then add sugar it will watery, but will  thicken after few minutes. Another pan add the remaining ghee medium heat fry cashew nuts, raisins gets light brown and mix with the kesari.

Garnish it cardamom powder and serve it.
